Our research coordinator works closely with the
physicians to develop and/or monitor various
studies. Her role is to act as a liaison between the
physicians and the pharmaceutical or surgery company
conducting the clinical trial. She screens patients
to determine if they meet the requirements to become
a participant in the study. She also maintains the
records required by the study sponsor and the
oversight board (IRB).
Tamara has been the clinical research coordinator
for TFC for close to 9 years. She attended Southwest
Texas State University where she majored in Health
Administration and has been in the healthcare field
for 15 years. Tamara is the mother of 2 very busy
kids and can be found most weekends watching them at
some sporting event.
