I walked in at the age of 44 and 6 failed IUI. Dr. Vaughn sat us down and gave us our odds of getting pregnant. It was hard to hear, but we needed to know. Once we made our choice he was behind us 100%. Stared on the injections, only making 1 egg a month on my own and still only had 1 egg. Did 2 IUI with no luck. Next month changed up the meds and had 5 eggs, and that was enough. Only 2 fertilize and was put back in. One took, and we are now 32 weeks with our son. Dr. Vaughn and his staff help made our dreams come true, and they are the ones you want in your corner. Dr. Vaughn is the best!

I cannot say enough about The Texas Fertility Center. As a physician myself, I am very picky about who I see for medical care. I can assure you that TFC is where you want to go if you are trying to have a baby! After 2 years of trying to conceive without success, we were referred to Dr. Silverberg @ TFC by another fertility center in another state. Dr. Silverberg is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and personable. He takes the time to answer any and all questions and never makes you feel rushed.

My husband and I went through IVF. During the process, we saw two of the other physicians @ TFC who were both wonderful, but 90% of the time we saw Dr. Silverberg. With my very busy work schedule, I thought it would be difficult to schedule all of the exams, ultrasounds, and procedures and still see my primary physician, but it was super easy! The staff are very accommodating. Most of your test results are communicated through the TFC nursing staff via telephone in a timely manner. Each time I left a message with a question, I was called with an answer before the end of the work day.
Of course, for this world class care, there is a price, literally :-) And your appointment may start a little late, so bring a book or read any one of their dozens of magazines. It's a small price to pay if you wind up with a baby in the end. And yes, we did become pregnant after our first round of IVF, but I would write the same review regardless of outcome.

I love TFC, ESPECIALLY Dr. Hansard. I have been her patient for over a year and a half and I love her approach. She is slightly compulsive (in a good way,) a perfectionist, spunky and funny! She knows what she is doing, and she has gotten a LOT of my friends pregnant. I can't imagine working with anyone else.
She tells you the truth. I want the truth. It may not always be rainbows and unicorns, but we rather have the truth, so we could move forward with realistic expectations and make the best choices for us with regards to treatment.
There were days that I felt like I wanted to stick a fork in my eye when I pulled in, however, I ALWAYS felt like there was hope, and "This is gonna be or month!" * insert cheer clap,* by the time I left.
She has a way of seeing and presenting the positive. I always felt like she wanted me to be pregnant as much as I did/do. I really do love her.
I have become very fond of the entire team really. Her nurse, Kellye, is AMAZING. I even want to hug the sweet the lady that checks you out. Their kindness has been immeasurable.
I did manage to get pregnant after an FET. Trust me when I tell you this was no small feat., but sadly, I miscarried. We will continue when it is time.
The one thing I feel for certain is that if ever we are ever have a child, Dr. Hansard and her team are the ones that will make it happen. (along with with the help of my wonderful husband of course.)

Love them!
Texas Fertility Center is a great place to go if you need their services. They are all extremely friendly, helpful, and informative. I highly recommend Dr. Burger and her team!

My husband and I began seeing Dr. Vaughn 5 months ago after a year of treatment from other doctors for infertility. My breaking point was after my previous doctor told us we needed IVF ICSI, but instead of explaining to us what it was, he told us to "google" it. During our first appointment with Dr. Vaughn, he spent 2 hours with us carefully explaining ALL of our options and going over what he thought would work best for us. We could easily tell that Dr. Vaughn truly cared about his patients.
We immediately decided to start our first round of IVF ICSI with Dr. Vaughn. We were excited to find out that TFC actually took time to teach us how to do the injections (my previous doctor had instructions mailed to us which caused us to ruin one of our IUI cycles because we did not do it correctly). Our nurse Jaime was also wonderful about answering any questions we had, and Dr. Vaughn did an amazing job of making us feel comfortable at each appointment. Even though our first round of IVF was unsuccessful, we were not giving up. Dr. Vaughn made it a point to personally call me to tell me he was sorry that we did not have better results the first time. I could tell in his voice that he genuinely cared about us and what we were going through.
Because we completely trusted Dr. Vaughn, my husband and I decided to start another round of IVF immediately. I am excited to say that we are now 9 weeks pregnant thanks to Dr. Vaughn and his team. My husband and I are so thankful to everyone at Texas Fertility Center. They really make you feel like a family there.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tx Fertility and Dr Silverberg. I have never in my life felt like i had more of an advocate than I had when seeing Dr S. He has assisted me in getting pregnant twice, and helped me with some pretty difficult decisions regarding my last pregnancy with twins. He is supportive, never judgemental and stresses that you are his patient and he will ALWAYS be there (throughout your pregnancy) to support you and help you in any way he can.
The office is run professionally and efficiently, and my nurse Gail was wonderful.
This practice, and specifically Dr Silverberg, are amazing and I would recommend them to ANYONE trying to conceive.

This is the best doctor's office, regardless of specialty, that I've been to. It's run very professionally, and you never feel like a number or like you've been left out in the cold. Where timing is everything, I knew at TFC I'd always be able to reach someone. I recommend Dr. Hansard who was the best doctor I've ever had.

Dr. Burger was AWESOME! I had 'unexplained infertility' and none of the doctors in my area could find a way to help us get pregnant. My friend recommended that I drive (two hours one way!) to TX Fertility and I am SO glad I did! She is compassionate, committed, and we are pregnant. Also, her nurse, Gaile, is 100% amazing. I felt like they were equally thrilled with my pregnancy.

Dr. Vaughn is the best doctor that I've ever had. I was a patient of his for several years. Our original issues started with my husband, but then included me. I was given information up front and clearly. It ended in three IVF attempts. The first two were complete failures. The last one, actually made it to the retrieval stage and I was told that I did not have enough eggs to "mathematically" do the retrieval. HOWEVER, Dr.Vaughn told me in no uncertain terms that while other fertility centers may not allow the process to continue - this decision was ours and ours alone; that he would support us no matter what. My husband and I continued - knowing that the odds were horrendous. I got pregnant and gave birth to a healthy baby.If we ever make the decision to try again, I will go back (and I no longer live in Austin) to Dr. Vaughn. Period. Thank you, Dr. Vaughn and IVF nurse, Jamie. You are two very special people!

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for several years. Dr. Silverberg helped our dream come true. I can't imagine going through the infertility process without having the caring support of Dr. Silverberg and his staff at Texas Fertility Center. I would highly recommend TFC for anyone that is having infertility issues. Thank you, Dr. Silverberg, for everything that you have done for us!

This clinic has been the absolute best clinic and doctor experience I've EVER had. I was referred here to Dr. Lisa J. Hansard for fibroid tumors problems that I was previously told that I may have to have a full hysterectomy to resolve. I was very worried because my Husband and I have desires to have our own children. Dr. Hansard's bed side manners were remarkably comfortable. Her explanations were thorough and she's exceptionally friendly and kind hearted. I can tell she is passionate about helping the women who come to see her. I was swiftly scheduled for a surgery and Dr. Hansard removed polyps in the beginning of my uterine tube and three tumors, one of which was the size of a grapefruit. Her expertise proved exceptional and the difficult surgery was a perfect success making my uterus fully capable of safe pregnancy and resolving all the other issues the large tumor was causing. I healed up quickly and nicely as well. She performed on me a Laperotomy with Myomectomy and a Hysteroscopy with Polypectomy all at the same time. I didn't get any infection afterward and had a 3.5" lower abdomen cut which I felt was remarkably small considering the size of the tumor she removed from there. Every visit I have gone to at this clinic, I have only ever encountered friendly, professional and kind hearted staff aside from this AWESOME doctor!! I HIGHLY recommend her and this clinic if you are having similar issues as I did. Special thanks to Dr. Lisa Hansard!

Dr. Burger is an excellent physician. She is competent, compassionate, and has a great bedside manner. She is extremely calm and patient. The thing I most appreciated about her was her ability to listen and take into account my perceptions and opinions in the treatment plan. She's a very low-key and skilled doctor.

I rate TFC five stars, not because I'm finally pregnant, but because of the excellent, compassionate care that we have received throughout the infertility/fertility process. From the beginning, costs were explained up front to us. There were never any surprises on the financial side of the process. (I cannot say the same thing for the other fertility treatments that I received elsewhere.) While pursuing non-IVF options, my nurse was very responsive, very kind, and remarkably gentle when sharing tough news. On one occasion, I actually hung up the phone feeling badly for her - and not myself - because I figured that making calls to tell women that they are not pregnant must be really sad. Once we moved onto IVF, we couldn't believe that the care and focus that we would receive could possibly improve, but it did! We received a calendar that carefully outlined our responsibilities. We filled out our paperwork which adequately required us to determine the number of embryos that we would transfer. We actually changed our mind during that process and we were not met with any questions or problems when we made that request. My IVF nurse was very comforting and made me feel like she understood me. The on-call nurse was wonderful - always prompt, and always a great 'cheerleader' to keep me positive. I already miss the nursing staff!!!During my course of treatment(s), I have seen every physician in the practice. I always saw my primary physician during the week, but on the rare occasions that I required a sonogram on a weekend or holiday, I was seen by that physician on call. I was always impressed with the bedside manner of each doctor - and I really enjoyed getting to meet all of them. I would refer anyone to this practice - and have, repeatedly. You will get excellent, one-on-one care, more time in the exam room to get your questions answered, and your additional questions are never unimportant to the clinical staff. They will take wonderful care of you.

Kicking our Quest for a Baby Up a Notch with TFC
TFC is a professional, friendly place to deal with infertility. The office runs like a well-oiled machine; never before have I seen a medical office run so efficiently! We completed more testing in one month at TFC than in the previous six cycles working with our regular OB/GYN. We appreciate the attention to detail and our doctor's willingness to be honest with us. I definitely recommend working with the doctors and staff at TFC
